HOW IT ALL BEGAN

'The Bucket', intended as a derogatory knick-name for the city
of Pawtucket, has been embraced by locals - and serves as a
testimony to the friendly, self-deprecating, hard working nature of
the residents of this former industrial hub.
Pawtucket, the
birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, suffered lean
years when industry moved from the city, but is now
experiencing a rebirth.

Last year, I made t-shirts for our dragon boat team,
The
Pawtucket Bucketeers
, that embraced our city's nickname,
and have been overwhelmed by requests to make these shirts
available to the public. Some research, a copyright, and a test
batch of shirts later, I can no longer deny the need to make them
available.

These
t-shirts embrace the city's underdog nature and the idea
of rebirth through good design. They are sweat-shop free, high in
quality, iconic, and tragically hip - not to mention made in
America, printed and designed right here in
'The Bucket'.

These shirts are available at the Pawtucket Farmers Market.
